Two Ways to Use the App

Not everyone who installs Pebbls is recording a journey. The app has two modes, and you switch between them with the App Mode control at the top of the main menu.

Tracking Mode

The map screen is your home. Use this while you are recording a journey.

Browsing Mode

The app opens on the adventure feed, with tabs for the feed, the map, Flyby films, communities (Discover) and your profile. Use this to follow other adventurers, or between trips. Choosing New journey from the menu switches you back to Tracking mode and starts a new journey.

Which Mode Am I In?

New accounts without a journey start in Browsing mode; accounts with a current journey start in Tracking mode. The setting is remembered on your phone.
