Managing Your Community
You Are the Admin
The creator of a community is its admin. The Manage menu on the community page holds everything below.
What Admins Can Do
- Edit Community: name and description (Hubs also choose Public or Private)
- Invite Members by username or with an invite link
- Join Requests: approve or decline (private Hubs and Hubs with approval required)
- Pin and close discussions, remove content
- Make Moderator, Remove Moderator, Transfer Admin, Remove from Group, Ban from Group on any member
- Banned Members: review and un-ban
- Upgrade to Hub
- Delete Community (owner only)
Roles
Members can share journeys, post and react. Moderators can also remove content, remove or ban regular members and handle join requests, but cannot change settings or billing. Admins can do everything, including transferring the admin role, after which they become a regular member.
Banning
Ban members who spam or harass others. A banned member is removed immediately and cannot rejoin or request to join, even with an invite link, until you un-ban them under Manage › Banned Members. Their shared journeys are removed from the community.
