Creating a Community

Start a free open community in a few steps.

Who Can Create?

Any signed-in member. Open communities are free. On the community page choose Create › Free Community.

How to Create

• Community name (3 to 100 characters)
• Description (10 to 1,000 characters): what the community is about and who it is for
• Cover image (optional, up to 5 MB, landscape works best)
• Tap Create Community

Open Communities Are Public

Free communities are always public: anyone can find and join them. If you need a private group, approval of new members, a logo or moderators, upgrade to a Hub.
