Invite Links and Join Requests
Invite Links
An invite link lets anyone join with one click, and is the only way into a private Hub. Manage › Invite Members › Generate Invite Link, then copy it or Send via Email. Links expire after 7 days; making a New Link deactivates the old one. You can also invite members by username.
Join Requests
Hubs can require approval. Set Membership to Approval Required in Hub Settings (public Hubs) or make the Hub private. Requests then appear under Manage › Join Requests, with any message the person wrote, and you Approve or Decline each one.
Visibility Modes
- Public, open: anyone can find and join instantly (all free communities)
- Public, approval required: anyone can find it and request to join (Hubs)
- Private: hidden from search; invite link required (Hubs)
