Your First Launch
The Welcome Guide
The first time you open Pebbls you see a short welcome guide of ten cards: journeys and chapters, tracking, Pebbls, flyby films, sharing and a few tips. Swipe through it or tap Get Started. You can watch it again at any time from Settings › Support › Welcome Guide.
Language and Look
On first launch the app offers your phone's language and asks whether you prefer a light, dark or automatic look. Both can be changed later under Settings › Appearance.
Permissions
The app then asks for location (choose Always or Allow all the time), photos, camera and notifications. See "App Permissions" for what each one is for.
Then Your First Journey
After signing in you land on the Welcome page: how Pebbls works in three steps, a Start my first journey button, and "Not ready yet? Look around" if you would rather browse first. See "Starting a New Journey".
