Failed Mount Katsudake Walk!
A cycle and walk day for me, a rest & recuperation day for Suchern.
We actually met for a bit in the late afternoon in Bise Village where Nando and Suchern had gone for a walk...although I went off to see it for myself too.
I thought I'd better get back to the campsite and a konbini (convenience store) meal before dark, whilst Nando and Suchern went in search of a restaurant.

Giving Up The Route To Mt Katsudake
All the trails on my map petered out or had a no entry sign. There was also something that sounded like Godzilla in the trees (cement company land - they have anything like that?). On the up-side, there was a satsuma tree...but maybe I angered Godzilla by taking one 😯

Lined with cherry, satsuma and the occasional papaya tree! Unfortunately I'm up in the cloud today, so no views over the peninsula.
