Day 29: Ponferrada -> Villafranca
22km, fairly flat, warm. 🌥️ Happy to have a slightly shorter walk after yesterday’s beast.

Never Underestimate 20+k
One of those days where we felt a bit indifferent. Legs were knackered after the uphill and downhill walks so a relatively flat walk felt like quite a slog. “The only way out is forwards” - wise words from James. Also had some surprising hills at the end that nearly killed us. Beautiful emerging onto Villafranca though, a picturesque town nestled at the bottom of the hills (which we are climbing today toward Galicia)
