A beautiful and almost traffic free route yesterday. 1300 m of ascent to eventually cross a 940 m pass and down to Khashua.
Today I cycle down to Gori.
I met Thomas from Geneva
Thomas was travelling in the same direction but further than me and was always going to overtake me. Nevertheless he stopped to have a chat and cycle together a while. As we got to climbing I insisted he go ahead!

Cross-roads. I met Dietrich who is on another of his many multi-country tours. He is cycling in the opposite direction to me…
