Whales & Dolphins!
The wind is still very light meaning we are spending a large amount of time bobbing. But the sea is calm and there’s wildlife everywhere! Today we’ve seen whales, dolphins, a huge amount of seabirds, turtles and sailfish.
We have spent the last 24 hours about 5NM from a boat we anchored next to a few times on the Caribbean side who is also choosing to save fuel and opt to drift instead of motor. He is a solo sailor without internet so we are his forecast while we’re in VHF range!
The wind is very variable for the next 500 mikes, but until the current is against us we’ll drift, enjoy lots of sleep and calm days!
