Cycling Day 19: To Kunisaki
Beppu Tower
We tried to go take a quick peek around from the top of the Beppu Tower this morning, the top floor having been closed by the time we finished our Indian meal last night, but it wasn't open when we went before 9am, then we found out you had to pay when we went after 9:30am and took the lift up, and it wouldn't have been worth it for a 10 minute look 🙁

We arrived at one of my camping options quite early today and, after translating all of the signs we could find, decided it was a free camping spot we could use with nearby toilets and the sound of the sea.
We had a leisurely evening meal from the nearby supermarket, worked out our route and campsite for tomorrow, and left it until dusk to pitch the tents just in case camping is frowned upon (even though one of the signs said 'beach camp').
Hopefully sunshine in the morning 🙂
