I fought my way through an overgrown trail to get to the beach from the parking...then I noticed a proper trail just a short distance away!
I think the last photo is the heart-shaped rock pool, but I'm not entirely sure!

Evening on the beach
A generous Japanese man with good English offered us the option of staying at his home a little before we stopped this evening. We declined as it was 11km back in the other direction and we'd already thought we were wild camping...but Suchern got his details, so we could potential so there on the way back...
It's quite a gusty night - I've had to weigh down some of my tent pegs with stones... Hope my tent is still here in the morning!
