I live in Ladakh , in the Himalayas of northern India for the last 11 years where I teach young Buddhist monks and nuns. Because of changes in visa laws, I am only allowed six months a year in my home there. I cannot stay in one place, I wander. I have traveled in over 60 countries alone, hitchhiking, buses, motorcycles, boats, walking, bicycles. I do slow travel and 7 kg max backpack whether one month or two years, and it is still too much. For me, the journey is the trip, not the destination, and connecting with others along the way is what brings such a richness to my life. I find goodness wherever I go
