Aruba Boatyard
A month and a bit at Varadero Boat Yard.
Main jobs included:
- Sanding off copper coat and applying primer and antifoul to the hull
- Repainting the cockpit
- Repainting the decks
- Servicing the engine
Of course we found other issues whilst we were here… including asphaltenes in our diesel tanks, which took Ads about 3 days to scrape out!
Our days involved working online, boat jobs, and trips to Kooymans (hardware store) and Budget Marine (chandlery).
Luckily there was a restaurant at the marina, so we could relax with beers and a cheeky fish and chips once in a while!
