Goodbye Georgia
We came into Georgia a month ago knowing not a lot about this little country. Now, as we prepare to leave, it feels like we are going to miss it very much. Georgia is beautiful, peaceful, welcoming, and full of culture - it has become my favourite place.
Our route options are completely blocked at the moment due to Covid, and recent politics, so we have decided to take a break from this adventure and return home for a few months until things open up enough for us to continue. On Monday we catch the 2 day Black Sea ferry to Bulgaria from where we will find trains, buses, and ferries that will take us home.
It's been an incredible 6 months. Thanks for following our adventure. We'll post again soon as we make plans for the next instalment. -S
