Starting The Hike | Lake District
The Glenriding hiking loop will take us 17k up to the top of Helvellyn and around. We hope to camp overnight around with maybe a little swim at the top!
Red Tarn Lunch Break
Over 2 hours of uphill hiking and it’s time for lunch! You don’t get much nicer spots than this for an afternoon chill. After lunch and maybe a swim we will continue onwards for another few hours before finding a spot to camp.

Camping For The Night
After hiking for a good five hours we decided it was time to find a spot for the night. Tents up and kettle on just before the rain started! As soon as the sun dropped the temperature also dropped significantly so we retreated to our tents for an early night and ready for an early start!
