Hiking Mount Tsutsujo
Forecast is for light rain, so layers, waterproofs and even the waterproof gloves I thought I wouldn't use are coming! I hope it turns out better than expected and I get some views, but I guess sunshine is a bit much to ask for 🫤

Bamboo growth has made the going very difficult and challenging to follow were it not for the tape tied to trees along the route. Someone needs to come this way with a beefy strimmer!

Mount Ishizuchi - so close!
But no time left today - I've still 8km to get back to my bike...at least it's mostly downhill and then I get to freewheel to the campsite!
I've not seen or heard another hiker on my route today, but there'll probably be a few who went up there about when I get down to the road.

Hello noble steed!
16km/10 miles didn't seem that long when I plotted the route for this hike, but it felt very tough! Especially the first 3km, which took far longer than expected!
Now I can roll back to the campsite 🙂
