Tread carefully!
The route we took down was not on my maps!
There were ropes along the way and they were definitely needed as it was very steep in places and we both slipped over a bit!
The Japanese seem to do just 2 levels of hiking so far - concrete trails for the easy type, or really difficult forcing your way jungle/slip-sliding your way over really challenging terrain!

Seaside campsite
We made it down to a campsite just as their reception was closing at 7pm after a full day.
They had already locked the showers for the night, but Suchern managed to persuade them to unlock them again so we could have a quick shower before pitching our tents!
We pitched in the dark. Hopefully they'll still be standing in the morning 😉
