Meant to be out here two nights with a gang of folks but because of a WINDY forecast it ended up being just us for one night. We got to Kusawa late yesterday and opted to stay in campground because it was windy and rainy. Got hailed on while setting up camp. All definitely grumpy. Early to bed just to get warm. Cold morning this morning and mutinous kids but we tried the lake and it worked! Wind settled. Snow melted from the mountain tops and we’ve all relaxed into enjoying the day.
