A month in Tikehau

It’s now been one month since we arrived in Tikehau, the most western Tuamotu. We have reunited with a family from Jersey and spent some much needed catch up time.

The weather has been a little odd for the past week or so either some extremely punchy thunderstorms coming through each day. Some far too close for comfort! We are now making plans to head to Maketea, a tiny island 50 miles south which is a great stop off in calm weather on our way to Tahiti.
