The Wall Of Sharks | Sailing Fakarava

After spending the morning surfing a atoll pass which was a little too shallow for my liking we did the short sail over to Fakarava south pass in hope to catch slack tide and edge our way into the lagoon. We had a lovely sail with 15-20knots on the beam and our friends on open range close behind.

The pass was relatively straight forward and we were lucky enough to grab the last mooring bouy inside. We wasted no time in grabbing our freediving gear and heading out to the pass - a UNESCO world heritage sight known for a huge abundance of sharks. It did not disappoint!
