Sailing The Pacific | Into The Trades
The stretch from Panama, through the equator and into the trades was both challenging and relaxing. We had days of calm seas and very little wind filled with loads of wildlife as well as nights with squally weather and lots of thunder. We have now left that all behind us and edged our way into the trades. We currently have 10-15 knots on the beam and are sailing along nicely. There are flashes of thunder off our starboard side but so long as we remain in the wind it should be trade wind sailing for the next 2900 NM.
