Food

· Japan

There was a little food truck selling some fruit and veg. I bought a small bag of potatoes for food on Sunday.

The campsite shop has one kind of instant noodles that appears to be veggie too. I can definitely survive a bit longer here without having to visit a supermarket 🙂 Most of their snacks are uninspiringly light though (especially for somewhere you come to go hiking!). Weight is how I tend to judge snacks and treat food here; if it doesn't weight much, it's probably not worth having, and most things do seem to be very light. Even their baguettes/French bread feels very light and is soft rather than crusty. Thank goodness for mochi & red bean paste products!
