STAGE 15 etap 7 - July 13 2026
It rained a lot yesterday and although I got waterproofs on early I would have had to wear a dry suit not to get wet from spray and wind! Today could also be wet. There is low cloud over the hills.
I am heading to the Geogian border and Batumi today. I am expecting quite a change in culture.

The Confusing Turkish Border
At first I was sent where the cars went which would’ve been a very easy solution but the police man there sent me back where all the foot passengers were and then it took me quite a while to discover that I had to drag my bike up two floors to go through Turkish immigration!
Into Georgia 2 hours later!
The woman police officer said I couldn’t take a picture of her so I asked her to take a picture of me. She laughed.
