Sequoia And Yosemite
A three hour drive to Sequoia National Park to kickstart three days of tree and mountain appreciation.
Madonna Inn
Went to a petting zoo while waiting to check in at the Madonna Inn - a quirky hotel in San Luis Obispo. We were the only adults at said petting zoo, with our clumps of lettuce. Swung by a gun expo 😅, caught some rodeo practise and enjoyed a lovely jubly steak dinner.
Sequoia National Park
😵 Favourite National Park so far. So peaceful and smells AMAZING.
Yosemite
Yosemite took our breath away. Literally and figuratively. Did a hike to ‘Inspiration Point’ and had the best sandwich ever at the top. Weather was perfect. Had all our windows down in the car breathing in the fresh air, driving down the snaking roads. Saw a climber on El Capitan - madman. (Video actually taken in Sequoia)
